_Freedom Relay Canada - Ottawa Event

WHO: You, your friends and family!
WHAT: The first annual Freedom Relay Canada, specifically the Ottawa leg of a national "relay" rolling out in cities from St. John's to Vancouver this autumn.
WHERE: A 12.5 km route in downtown Ottawa, starting at the Human Rights Monument and finishing at Minto Park.
HOW: Walk, run or cycle. We challenge each team to cover 100 km using whichever combination of person power they please!
WHY: To raise awareness of human trafficking and funds to provide the services required by people who have been trafficked. Each team has a fundraising target of $3 000.00, with funds to be shared between international, pan-Canadian and local programs for trafficked persons.
