Kathleen Petty
Seasoned journalist and broadcaster Kathleen Petty is the host of Ottawa Morning, as well as the host of CBC News: The House. Petty, a pillar of strength at CBC Newsworld since 1989, has been a producer, reporter and the anchor of CBC News: Today and CBC News: Canada Now Newsworld Edition. She has hosted CBC Radio's As it Happens and Cross Country Checkup, as well as Calgary's morning show, Calgary Eyeopener. Among her many accomplishments, Petty has interviewed numerous world leaders, including Bill Clinton and Shimon Peres. She has also produced and reported live news coverage of significant world-events, such as the Oka Crisis, the Montreal Massacre and the Gulf War.

Eileen Kerwin Jones

Eileen Kerwin Jones has a background in public health and midwifery. In 2006, she completed her doctoral studies in theological ethics at Saint Paul University in Ottawa. She is an independent scholar and activist with teaching and work experiences in Canada, England, Africa and India. Her areas of interest are liberation theological ethics, feminist studies, international health and economics. She is a founding member of PACT-Ottawa, a grassroots organization concerned about human trafficking.
