Membership
Being a member of PACT-Ottawa includes you in Ottawa’s only incorporated anti-human trafficking group. As a member, you have the opportunity to come and learn about human trafficking and anti-trafficking efforts in the city. You can also contribute your time, ideas and areas of expertise on a voluntary basis to the action of the group. The benefits of membership include some of following:
· Member’s meeting agendas and minutes
· Education items and reports
· Invitations to Government, Senate and Embassy presentations and screenings
· Advance notice of Volunteer and Job Postings
· A voice and a vote in the Annual General Meeting
· Access to the PACT-Ottawa Library and Resources
· And more…
Membership fees are $20 for 1 year. The money collected from membership is split into thirds. One third is put towards supporting service providers, one third goes towards education and awareness initiatives and the final third helps to provide for materials.
